The vintage sweet shop was the highlight of our annual Sixth Form Ball. The students and the staff feasted as they danced. This is the perfect addition to any school ball, end-of-term fete or big birthday party
Reminiscence Activities
Emily's Best Traditional Sweet Shop is the perfect catalyst for happy memories for older people's reminiscence activities.
With our staff dressed in vintage costumes serving old fashioned sweets in pounds and ounces we bring our traditional sweet shop to you for a delightful morning or afternoon.
We can also provide a range of resource materials including replica ration cards and sweetie themed quizzes.

Schools & Educational Packages
We offer a little bit of living history with out Schools & Educational Traditional Sweet Shop packages.
We were invited to attend the Worcstershire Young Archaeologists Club WW2 event. It proved to be a fascinating day with a visit from the Home Guard, a furious race to make the longest paper chain, potato pastry pasties and a cake topped with battle trenches. Our sweet shop dished out a week's ration to each child (in exchange for their sweet coupon of course) and we were able to share our knowledge of confectionery during the war including educating the children in pounds and ounces.

TV, Film & Theatre Hire
Emily's Best Traditional Sweet Shop is available for Film, TV & Theatre Hire as featured on BBC's Bang Goes The Theory
Incidentally, the findings of the programme were that sugar is a natural product and less refined than you might imagine, and that it is the hidden sugar in products where you wouldn't expect to find it that is a potential health problem in our society.
Festivals & Large Event Hire
Emily's Best has attended all manner of large events from pop concert tours, air shows and festivals, with the capacity to serve up to 2,000 portions per day.
Our shop can be located outdoors with our marquee, and is fully self contained requiring no external power.
Emily's Best has £10m public liability, is food hygiene certified and registered with the local authority.
